Give to Support Change Wars Teams

The North Platte Public Schools Foundation invites family, friends, community members and NPHS alumni to join current students, parents, and staff in celebrating this 2025-2026 year with Change Wars!  Participating schools, teachers and students are in a friendly competition to collect change, online donations or you can drop off monies at First Interstate Bank for their school wish list! Each elementary school will be representing their school as they march on the NPHS Track at Bauer Field prior to the Bulldog Football game Friday, September 26th at 6:25pm.  If you live in or around North Platte, please join NPPSF at the Bulldog Backyard BBQ Tailgate sponsored by Nebraskaland Bank.  Free will donations for NPHS FCCLA on September 26th from 4:30-6:30pm at NPHS Parking Lot.

 

Examples of school/classroom wish list:

  • Madison--Courtyard upgrades
  • Lincoln-in partnership with the PTO-Kindegarten-2nd grade playground equipment
  • Washington-in partnership with the PTO ADA playground equipment-
  • McDonald--One Book One School for 2nd Semester & student awards

 

This year, we have some amazing incentives teachers and students totaling over $2,000!

  • Top Three Classrooms: The leading elementary classroom and Madison's Smart Starts rooms at each building will earn the teacher a $25 Amazon gift card, the first place teacher will be awarded $75.
  • Elementary Winners: The top classroom at each school will enjoy a popcorn party during the week of October 1st. 
  • Secondary Winners: The top Start Start students will receive breakfast pizza for 1st place, donuts for 2nd place, and donut holes for 3rd place.

 

Schools across the district will be competing against each other based on enrollment percentages to ensure fairness. Additional Rewards:

  • 1st Place: $450.      5th Place: $100
  • 2nd Place: $300.     6th Place: $75
  • 3rd Place: $200.      7th Place: $50
  • 4th Place: $125       8th Place: $25

 

Come cheer on the students during the Change Wars march on Bauer Field at 6:25pm and stay for the Bulldog vs Columbus Football game.  Find out more at HERE
